You will install and service Internet connections for our customers.
We operate a fixed wireless and fiber-optic network.
In very basic terms, this position feels like part IT technician, part cell phone tower climber, and part landscaper/trencher.
This means you will do tasks like:
Operate walk behind trenching machine Climb elevated structures like water towers, grain legs, and radio towers Use an extension ladder multiple times a day Use a laptop throughout the day to configure devices and complete paperwork.
Use basic tools like cordless drills, wrenches, cable crimpers, etc Restore any damaged turf surfaces, spread dirt, and plant grass seed Other duties as assigned You will work physically hard but you'll be making a difference in peoples' lives by providing a necessary service.
Many of the areas we provide service to are locations where Cable and DSL are not available.
Generally, this means the rural areas in Western Racine and Kenosha Counties.
You must have a valid drivers license and the ability to drive a company vehicle, pass a background check, and drug test.
