Manufacturing Manager

Manufacturing Manager Manufacturing Engineer with GMP experience in the medical device, bio-tech and/or pharmaceutical industry is needed to provide management for all manufacturing shifts for a dynamic company.
This is a long term contract budgeted for at least a year (+).
Responsibilities for the Manufacturing Manager Oversees management of all areas of Manufacturing on all shifts, directs activities so that products are manufactured to product specifications and written procedures on-schedule and within quality standards and cost objectives.
Hands-on approach to management of staff and responsible for maintaining Good Manufacturing Processes (GMP) and Good Documentation Practices (GDP).
Delivery of quality products within agreed upon time and budget targets.
Also, planning and development of staff needed to meet company manufacturing goals and support of company's communication and culture objectives.
Planning & Scheduling Identify and direct key activities so that approved products are manufactured and released on schedule, within quality standards and budget objectives, per plan.
Oversee and direct all particle manufacturing related functions and activities (raw material good receipts, consumable receipt, material movement, inventory, SAP transactions, manufacturing, etc.
).
Comply with other duties assigned.
Requirements for the Manufacturing Engineer/Manager Bachelor's Degree in Business, Engineering, or equivalent (5
years Manufacturing Management experience) Industrial Engineering background or training Trained in and has applied Lean and Six Sigma (Green or Black belt) principles Advanced training in personnel management Knowledge, skills and abilities Demonstrated personnel management and/or proven record of project leadership and management skills; adherence to KPIs Strong interpersonal skills, mechanical aptitude, and proven ability to implement lean principles.
Demonstrated aptitude and ability to successfully manage production plans while meeting scheduled program/project deadlines; must be able to work both independently and with a team.
Understanding of SAP system and operation, BOMs, Routers, COGs, etc.
Personal skills Proficient use of Microsoft Programs (ex:
Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project); Sharepoint; Jaber; Ariba; Axxerion, SAP, and other production related software.
